First Solo Hunt

Got on a great duck lease up in Oklahoma with 2 friends this year. This place maybe should be called " Drake Lake". Took my first Drake Canvasback 2 weeks ago and my first Woody yesterday. I can't call yet and will have to practice but laid the wood to them without even calling yesterday. Did hit the pintail whistle a few times. Had to bust ice with a sledgehammer for 50 yards to get the Pintail. Was worth the work but I was beat last night.

Looks like the wood duck is gonna get away.

I had him posted up on the mallard for a pic earlier that morning and he froze in that pose. My wife thought the same thing.
