Thanks, Mother Nature

I was going to hunt this morning, on my day off, but severe thunderstorms were forecast for legal shooting time through mid-morning. I made the decision around 9 last night to not go. I didn't want to make the drive to not be able to hunt.

Wake up this morning to smoke a brisket and check the weather...thunderstorms have been pushed back to 9 a.m., which is about as Kate as I would have hunted anyway.

I've done that before, a lot more since I've gotten older and work more.

It happens with me too..Good weather turns the weather real bad
and bad weather for cast will always make weather fine......

It's not mo nature as much as it is weather folks...if I sucked at my job as much as they did theirs I'd be fired. Only job in the world where you can be right 40% of the time and look like a genius

That's why I still get up and drive to the lake, I'll make my decision at the last minute.

Made the mistake of checking again and it might not even rain all day, let alone storm.

Oh, well. Now I know to go and give it a shot.
