Specs

I worked in the barn late last night and early this morning. Lots of specklebellies soaring into the San Bernard Prairie. God I love hearing those first birds of the season. Here we go fellas.

Had a lone speck fly over my decoys yesterday evening while dove hunting. Strange for sure.

Now that is strange.

Saw a bunch yesterday on the coast.

Was dove hunting Sat. morning between China and Winnie and enjoyed watching several hundred geese (the ones that came close enough to identify were specs) fly over from ~7:30-9:30am. They are already pretty wary as they danced/rolled quickly from left to right before landing, even with a group already on the ground.

Fished Friday and was surprised to see geese get up with the ducks when I rounded a corner into a cove.
