Not to start up a debate on this thread but I notice quite a few folks like to knock BC.
They are admittedly dirty shells, but I always run them through a Nova pump so I have no qualms.
I recall the first days I started hunting over stock ponds and the go to shell for me was Winchester Drylok. I spent many hours scouring the bulrush for cripples tucked away. Then along came a new load from Federal that offered a promotional BC duck strap (that I still use today) so I figured why the heck not. BC was the first mid-priced load that I could consistently fold'em up at 40 yards, so it just stuck w/ me. At the slow rate I go through duck shells now, I am married to this case for the next few years.
