I have a rem 1187. Is there a brand or one choke that would make a difference in shooting dove or sporting clays?
I don't won't several is there one all around best pick?

I usually use an Improved Cylinder Choke for the first several weeks of dove season then I switch to a Modified choke the rest of the time in My Benelli SuperNova. I hope this helps.

One choke only....Improved all the way. I shoot skeet or even cylinder at dove but I'm lucky to hunt where I rarely shoot over 20 yards, but for both, Improved. I also recommend Briley chokes over all others.
