Decided to hunt in the back in order to not spook the ducks that were on the pond upon arrival...

The birds weren't flying around so the decoys were a waist of time. They were in the fields feeding and we had to run them up.

It was a bit muddy out...

I like walking them up. If you have the field for yourself is good exercise and fun.

I set up the decoys in the usual spot but once again nothing was flying. Walked around a bit and found a few birds so moved the deeks to where they were. They weren't having it. Had to walk them down again.

Ducks weren't really cooperating, so we called it a morning and went after the dove.

Spooked some ducks off the pond while searching for dove. Happened to notice these two dudes stayed put...

Paxton with a dove...

Dove were scarce so decided to swap out gear and put a sneak on the two Pintails that stayed on the water. I dropped one as they jumped but whiffed on the other.
