Anyone getting out to get a piece of this cold weather?

I am. Cutting ice. Lots of widgeon should try to get in a 20x20 hole. Fish in a barrel. I hope.

Tip - Watch your shots, do not shoot ducks that will land on ice in deep water, and for sure do not send dog on retrieve after duck across ice in deep water.

Nice!!! As of right I'm a go but all that could change by 330am. Hopefully I won't have to break to much ice I'll be going solo.

I am if I can get off work early. I will be going solo also.

X 2...... Gonna be an interesting hunt.

Don't really like to go solo for safety reason plus it makes the hunt not as boring when you having someone to talk to.

I'm on the fence. Today I hunted close to the same area I would be in tomorrow and is was SLOW. Nothing moving. I'd be solo and I'm not looking forward to busting ice and trying to keep it open.

Might sleep in and hit big water on Friday.

I was out this morning and saw way more birds than earlier in the week. Have to work tomorrow, but wish the best of luck to everyone. Don't forget your electric socks

It was Very cold morning but enjoyed it. Didn't really need to call much, just a jerk cord and feed chuckle brought em right.

Kent 3" 6s did a number on this one.

Saw a lot of ducks today but I was 30 yds off the x. Still got three but I should of had a limit. I can't shoot worth a dam.

I think I saw a total of 10 birds today including these. Lol my shooting isn't to bad I have my days where I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if my life depended on it.

The best day I have had all year. Lots of mallards and all decoyed great. Went solo which I love just me and the my friend.

I ended up doing pretty well just had to wait on them to show. GF busted her [censored] in the ice early this morning but hung in there pretty good and attempted a come back after warming in the truck for awhile.

Lol The ice was pretty thick this morning.
