Trout and redheads oh yea

Had guests all the way from Kansas City. They just wanted to see a bunch of ducks and get in on some Texas wade fishing. And so we did. The redheads put on a show as we had probably 5-600 in our spread on a couple of occasions. Had some pintails work in with the redheads but very hard to shoot while mixed in with those big groups. So we called the hunt at 730 and went to our first trout hole. On the very first cast I caught a nice 17 in speck and then on my second cast another 16 in. Well it wasn't soon after we were bowed up on triples for several minutes, it was literally cast after cast. Back at the dock and cleaned up all before 11.

We. Caught them on thumping mullets and gambler flapping shads.
