LOL I have been around some people that are just jerk O##s when it comes to taking other people's bands. My philosophy is if you shoot it, it is your band, be it my boat, my dog, my land or my whatever. If you shot it I won't take it. It has no value to me if I didn't shoot the bird. I can't tell you how many bands I have shot in a blind with clients and I never said a word other than "Good shot my man".

If the bird is in flight it would be easier to tell. Cranes fly with their necks out straight. Herons tuck their necks in like an "s".

It does not look like a Sandhill crane to me. It looks more like a blue heron
