200 Ducks

We have been blessed this year with a great September and a lot of water in the panhandle. Lots miles scouting has really paid off. The goal I set this year is 200 ducks by myself and a band. So far I'm at 98 with about 190 as a group.

Thanks for the comments. Todd we killed about 12 of them this year in the first 2 weeks. After the first good cold front they all left. Killed all of them within 45 mins of Lubbock.

Great pics man... What's crazy is I've hunted the panhandle for 20 years and only started seeing woodies for 3 or 4 seasons.

I'm jealous. looks like you have been having fun.

Things have slowed down this week but we are still at them. 247 as a group and 112 solo. Got a couple new ponds this week that I'm gonna start hunting.

My goal is to stay healthy and being able to hunt ducks like my great great uncle at age 102.

There are still a lot of ducks and geese in the Lubbock area, we saw all kinds flying as we drove down 380 between Brownfield and Post.

Well duck season is over for me. Killed 166 solo and 327 as a group. Will get in 1 or 2 more goose hunts this week before it ends.

man i miss the panhandle....used to make excursions up there...not the easiest hunting playas with little cover-same with geese on that winter wheat...still would love to go back some day.
