We only managed a woodie hen and a few BWT hens. Saw gobs of high flyers. Had a group on pintails just out of range. Managed to shoot at least one out of every group that got close enough (except for a single my partner missed... twice.)

Someone's got to take out the trash, nice shoot.

A flock of 500 coots will damage a planted lake in a hurry. By the way. Had three long time duck hunters take the blackened coot vs teal challenge. 100%-coot is better!!

Spoonies really aren't that bad, fellas. Mr. Hollywood Mallard. Shoot it was nice to shoot something else other than a mallard back home in Calizona. Especially a spoon. But I am a no go on them darn coots. Ugly dirty birds for sure.

So you cooked both the coots and teal the same way, and you did a taste test and they picked coot? Cooked the same way, blackened? Explain blackened? I never tried coot, if someone else cleaned it I may try it.

Kids love shooting anything.
