One day delivery

I ordered these and G and H had them at my door 24 hours later. These are my new favorite deeks. I think they are bad@$$. They have striking detail and I won't have to wonder if the freakin paint will come off.

I been using them few years now, they are very durable and look great.

I didn't know had the widgeon deeks.

For walk in hunts I got a set I let the sand out, and the are really light. Also if I load up my Momarsh with 24 deeks, I go with deeks with no sand, weight makes a big difference.

My problem was it was hard to justify $200 a dozen for deeks when I have 20 dozen. I still have some from when I was a kid. Yes they are old. So when Dave sent me the dozen Redhead G and H I though about it. Life is too short to hunt with crappy deeks and life is getting shorter and shorter everyday. So I am replacing all my deeks. This year I popped on 4 dozen. Each year I will buy 4 dozen until they are all replaced with G and H.

I am keeping my GHG full bodies though. I keep them in slotted bags and will put a knot on my brother's head when he throws them in a pile. It especially ticks me off when he atarts a pile in mud. That sends me into V-Fib I get so ticked at him. I finally told him to just pick up two at a time and hand them to me at the slotted bag.

It certainly does. When hunting the bay we use upwards of 12 dozen. When you do the math and add the decoy, the keel, the weight itself gear ect., you are talking the difference of going safely or not going safely, sometimes. I got a friend that brings a 60 pound backpack of hunting gadgets, 4 boxes of shells. We finally had a chat.

Dammit Wayne. Where did you order them? My 10+ year old G&H widgeon could use an upgrade.

The website at G and H blows. They are still linked with paypal and I just get leary of that. To top it off I got a call from the bank just yesterday about $1000 plus worth of charges in San Antonio with my debit card. I am done with that. I am using AmEx for every transaction from now on. Anyhow I called G and H and ordered them over the telephone. Get ready, you might like your old ones when you bust out that credit card. I have to say they are pretty dern pricey!!!!!

I purchased a dozen gadwall two years ago and I thought they were decent but not great. Are you impressed with the quality? My old widgeon are turning pinkish and I get chit all the time so I was thinking of getting some new ones.

O.K. I get the duck decoy but do really think the yellow lab is going to draw in ducks

Gdogg your hunting gr elliot. Of course he can't pass on a pink decoy shot. I can say this. At $200 a dozen, if they turn pink I am headed to Henryetta with a pile of decoys. We would have to roll around in the mud over that kind of money turning pink. Oh!! how much you want for your old ones

If I'm spending $200 a doz on dekes, they better have a damn anti aircraft missile system for the birds that slip by my shotgun.

I have a hard time believing they're 4 times better than a dozen storm fronts.

It is not always a comparison of quality. Where are Flambeau's decoys made? Hecho in Mexico? Made in china? I can't see on there website where they are made.

Max shooting my new gadwalls doesn't make me too happy either. He completely sunk one in one shot. Or maybe that was me.

Ducks I hunt are liberals. China, Mexico, it don't matter. They love everyone.
