Thought I would show some birds I've finished up recently for the folks who don't visit the taxidermy section much.

sad thing is I cant name a dang one of those.... all though I think I used to know what the middle two pics were....sad...I never had a duck mentor in all my hunting adventures! Beautiful Birds and mounts by the way!

Jeremy does great work! My pair of mergansers that he did have a prominent spot in our living room! Still look great!

Great work as always Jermey. I look forward to bringing you several more this season. Just a little constructive criticism if your open to it, and im no taxidermist. Maybe its just me, but the feet on the standing mounts look a bit far back IMO. 2cents

That's a beaut spec!


The legs are far back because they're divers. Since they dive under water, their legs are positioned further back on their bodies to propel them and help act as rudders. The mounts are in a natural position. Leg position is further forwards on puddle ducks.
