Windy doves

Windy doves - 10/13/14 09:41 PM

Didn't see much in the air. Decided to walk the 100 acre muddy milo.
They were all packed in the field sheltering from the wind.
Was fun. Time of year to chase em down in the field.

Austin area wasn't nice to me on Tuesday. 5 big ones were the bag by the end of the evening hunt. Hopefully Sunday will prove more productive.

They are still around in numbers in North Texas, hunted Tuesday and got a limit in an hour. Hunted yesterday afternoon as well and killed a limit, noticed more dove too, most were big birds with a lot of fat on them.
Little harder to hit them in the wind though.
