whats your go to dove gun?

I hunted with a 12g O/U opening morning then switched to 20g auto that evening. I love the 20g auto!
I would like to try a 28g

20ga. semi-auto (Beretta 303)

great question OP- I have been shooting a Benelli Vinci for a couple years that I have really enjoyed. My son glommed on to it this year so I reached to the back of my gun safe to pull out a Brownng Citori in a 20 gauge. I REALLY enjoyed shooting it this weekend. One thing that I really appreciated was not having to spend 20 minutes picking up shell hulls at the end of the hunt. I may shoot that Citori again this fall- it just felt cool.

I shoot a remington 1100 28 gauge and it is a nice little gun.

This yr it's a new to me Citori 20ga. The BPS 12 still tags along as a back up.

I like my 12 ga. LH Tristar Viper G2. I just got it last month. It is a dove killin' machine. Really shoulders well for me.

The only shotgun I have right now is a Winchester 1300. This is only my second year dove hunting and it's worked for me so far.

I've been using Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon 28 gauge last couple years.

Wonderful handling, kills better than I thought it would.

Stoeger S x S in 12ga. The forearm split right down the middle last year. I used dowel pins and glue, got it back together and back in action.

We were shooting the masters course at Fossile Pointe. BarnyWho was shooting 410. When we got done and tallied up the score he had shot a 98 out of 100. He said " if a man can't shoot 100 on this course with a 410 he might as well quit" then he threw his gun in the trash! I dug it out after he left. It's a pretty sweet gun

I love it for dove! It's cycled everything I've put through it and it's very light recoil.

For the first time in 8 years yesterday it locked back without loading the next round in the tube. It's cycled flawlessly after that. The only reason I'm looking at the new A5 for ducks is because I hate getting that silver wet and muddy.

My New M3000 Stoeger the wife and kids game me for Father's day.

This opening day I was using the back end of it to fish a Dove out of a tank.
Yeah, I dropped her in the tank and she got filled with mud and moss.
I shook her out and two dove flew over and out of instinct I dropped them both.
I inspected her and almost all the mud and moss was off of her.
What little mud was still on her I washed off and out with a bottle of water.
She continued to run the rest of the morning and I finished off my limit with another 11 birds.
It never missed a beat! Not a single FTF, FTE, or anything else!

I picked up a Beretta Extrema 2 this season and I think I'm in love!
