How many shells you taking?

just like the subject says, how many shells will it take you to limit on dove? I typically only fire warning shots on my first two shots and hit on my third shot so 3X15 is 45 shells... so two boxes ish. What about yall?

Im taking a case just in case.

I feel cheated if I don't get to shoot 3 boxes on a limit.

3 boxes. I have Eurasians to shoot at too.

I'll have 2 boxes with me.

One to use (normally get my limit in 18-20 rounds) in my Shell belt/bag. The first days I can usually pick my shots.

The other will most likely stay in my bucket I sit on, in case anyone else needs some (or I do on a bad day).

16 Just in case I hit one but it don't go down.

I'll carry two boxes, but hopefully can keep it to one... or at least not have to walk back to the truck for more.

I usually take 2 boxes. My average is 2 shells per bird.

I take the 4 box value pack. I'm not a very good shot, but it's still fun.

14 shells. 7 shells for hitting 2 birds with one shot, 1 shell to fill the limit, and 6 shells to blow holes in cactus after I'm done hunting in 12 minutes.

Ill have my case in the truck. Probably start with a new box and the leftovers from last year that are in my vest

2 cases, but I have a bike trailer that I'm pulling with a mountain bike this year, at least on my property. If I was just humping a bucket and shotgun I'd take 3 boxes, expecting to shoot 40-60.

None, I wont be shooting. Have to many kids going and I'll be on safety patrol.

If they had orange backs like the clays then would probably only need a box to limit. Got several boxes for me and several boxes for the wife. Dove were flying high this morning while I was watching them. Trigger finger is twitching and itchy this afternoon.

100 rd value pack and a box of leftover's.

I wait for them to land in the tree some 30 yards out. With a little luck I can drop 3 or 5 at one time. The rest of the shells are shot at windmills, signs, and empty cans we throw out in the pasture.

4 pack. Might get to shoot twice. They scatter in a hurry when that first shot goes off! (hunting public).

Last year I took 2 boxes and was out of ammo before 9 am. Not making that mistake again. The trouble is, I hunt public land and you gotta walk everything in: ammo, mojos, water, cooler ...

Sames as always. 2 boxes per day. If I can not get a limit of dove in 2 boxes it is time to stop wasting time and money. I will start drinking cold beverages.

Hell I blow threw two box's just making every twig isn't a snake on the way to my spot. Then I just throw empties at the dove. May be a Lil too windy for this method this morning. I usually bring plenty of shells.
