So, it is ok for someone to do the things he admits to doing (who really knows when it ended, maybe 30, a little in his 40's, etc) and then he can say he is "born again" and be right with the Lord? If you say yes, then it is ok for someone to do these things nightly and just pray for forgiveness each night and they are ok. The money from A&E, at this point, is nothing compared to the free advertising they received from the show, now that they have saturated the shelves with crap at the big box stores like Walmart, Academy, Cabelas, and Basspro the A&E money seems like a drop in the bucket.

I thought about this for awhile too. Why not just go crazy until you are 40 then repent? However, what I am finding out now is how hard leaving sin can be once you have a taste for it... Sin is like a shovel and when you use it you just dig yourself into a deeper whole.

So your upset that Phil wasn't born again as a child? From what I (A believer in Christ) have witnessed, it is much harder for an adult to come to a place of repentance than for a child.

Also, I believe and the bible teaches that Jesus(God) does hate the sin. Which is basically what Phil was saying. The gay community just blows everything out of proportion that is against their beliefs. Yet they can say anything they want too. It is sickening that we have allowed our voices as Christians to be taken from us.

We are called to share what the bible teaches and to preach Jesus Christ resurrection to the lost. I happen to assume that if you are a LGBT then more than likely, you are not living for Christ and are in fact "Lost".

And whoever made the comment that Christians got saved and have a clean slate and live like Jesus 24/7 now couldn't be further from the truth. We still sin (everyday) and we still have bad immoral thoughts. It is our belief that Jesus died for our past sins and future sins. You just need to ask him for fogiveness and accept him in your heart. And by no means is that a free pass to just sin all you want and ask for forgiveness. I have found that when you are living for Christ and are in his work, you tend to do a lot less sinning anyhow...

I try my best not to judge people but I am a sinner and that is something that I majorly struggle with. Ask my wife. Point is, we are human and humans are born sinners and die sinners, there is no prayer or religion that can keep us from sinning. God hates sin and can't look at it. That's why he sent Jesus to cover our sins so that he can accept us into his kingdom!

If it is a publicity stunt it just went SOUTH (like all my ducks). The network went from 6 million likes down to 600k likes on facebook....from what I have read there was also a significant drop in viewers last night. They also might have lost the entire cast.....
