no ducks in centex

Re: In central texas scouting for ducks - 10/26/13 01:59 PM

There's actually a place that I have been looking at for almost 5 years now in Centex that holds a lot of ducks...Not easy to hunt by all means, but I finally think I got a rig for it.

Now, is legal? There's some grey area in there.

No water in north texas. Boat ramps closed, lakes dry as a bone or mud silt holes that require 2 hr walks. Guess I need to go to ctx and shoot some spoonies!

Re: In central texas scouting for ducks - 10/31/13 04:36 PM

Well went out to see how much rain we got didn't do to much but anything is better then nothing still had well over 100 ducks in front of the blind so looks like we should have a good opener as long as we can beat people to the spot and don't have people setting up 100 yards from us. May have to camp on it

Re: In central texas scouting for ducks - 10/31/13 08:23 PM

No ducks here - nothing to see - move along
Posted By: txduckhunter

Re: In central texas scouting for ducks - 10/31/13 08:25 PM

And to whoever the h3ll named names - stop doing that -

you are just trying to throw people off your spot and send them to a dead spot that some of us like for the 1 to 2 ducks we get there a season
