What shot shells are going to use? I would hate to see you ruin it by trying to push steel through the barrels.

I love the old guns. They just have better lines and feel to them. Hevi-shot Classic Doubles is plenty soft and not excessive on chamber pressure either. It patterns great out of my old 16ga guns. Enjoy the old lady!

The hevi shot classic doubles is what ill shoot through it for ducks and pheasant and light dove loads for dove. So I couldn't take it I tore it apart and got everything ready to be sent off to have color case hardened. Ill glass bed the stock and refinish it and repair some cracks.

I'm no gun expert, I couldn't find my serial number on Brownings website and a gunsmith gave me the '29.

The Magnum 12 gauge a5 letter code is V. The date code started in 1958. 8v 1958 9v 1959 0v 1960 ect. Serial number
9v
01234 would be Mag 12 number 1234 made in 1959

An old man I hunt with used to hunt with George Yentzen, and he has the call he made his patent for the Yentzen calls off of. It's made out of a Stanley screwdriver handle, pretty cool.
