Lady Drake

Lady Drake - 12/01/11 02:10 AM

Well, I just got my first item from the new Lady Drake waterfowl clothing line. Ladies, if you are shaped at all like a woman should be, you will be highly disappointed. I bought the bonded fleece pants and the only thing they had right was the inseam length. They fit as though Drake took boy's youth pants and slapped a 'Lady Drake' tag on them.

The rise is too high, waist just HUGE, tight in the hips and forget trying to stoop or crouch if you've got any 'junk in your trunk.' These are going back to Macks Prairie Wings in the morning. Highly disappointed. Girls, if you have any curves at all, don't waste your money. rolleyes

AHA! THAILAND!!! That explains the lack of allowance for 'junk in the trunk!' On second thought, that explains the entire lack of allowance for curves at all! yingyang

I noticed Game Winner had some ladies stuff the other day while at Academy. At least there you can try it on before you buy.

I thing the men's Game Winner stuff is actually pretty decent and super cheap.

For waterfowling? Every time I go in Academy, all they have is big game hunting camo. Not enough waterproofing or insulation. Poor to no seal around the ankles. Heck, earlier in the year they didn't even carry brush pants for women. Did they come out with something new designed for waterfowling?

Besides, if I'm shooting at ducks, they're gonna spot me a mile away if I'm in camo designed for deer! nuts eek2

I don't remember what kind of camo but it's worth a look the next time you are in there.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't say something better about it. I was so excited to hear Drake had come out with a women's line of true waterfowler's clothing. They need to rethink the fit.

Marcstar, thanks for the tip on Academy. I'd all but given up on them for anything other than deer hunting gear, but next time I'm there I'll give it a try. Thanks
