Well I can across 2 of those "to good to be true deals" and these just happen to be everything I hoped.

I have always wanted a bad to the bone duck boat and now it has happened at a fraction of the price.

First let me say that I bought a junker because the junker had the motor on it. The motor is way worth the purchase of the whole setup as its a GO DEVIL 23hp vangaurd with ONLY 22 hrs on it (it has a tachometer and hr meter). So that it self is $3500 new (which this pretty much is) and I payed NOWHERE near that for the whole set up.

The day I purchased the boat and motor I had a buddy call me stating that his neighbor had a 16ft John that was 5ft wide with 20 inch sides for sale with a clear title and it was setup for bowfishing and hunting for ONLY $400. I had him send me a few pics and that was that, I bought that one too. The boat was in PERFECT shape and when I say PERFECT I mean like minimal scratches, no dings or whole or anything.

So with @ boats now it was time to take all the good stuff from either and make a "franken duck boat". There really was a butt load of work that went inot it, more that I care to list so here are some before and after pics

This is the $400 boat with galenized trailer and 55 hp johnson

I didnt take to many "during the process pics as I should have but heres one of the "platform/storage area I added to the boat

And now the CLUNKER that the motor came on that actually has all the stuff from both boats that I didnt use

NOW the reason I say not done yet is I am still going to camo the boat out, add some spot lights, put neo-padding throughout the botton and bowfishing platform and put some seats in it for fishing and the rides through the mudd to the hunting spots. Here it is so far, tell me what cha think

Looks like a good deal.

Looking good, you could probably get some of your costs back by selling everything you didn't use back too.
