Has anyone used Double Down minerals? Any results? Thoughts?

No, but I have used the Lyssy and Eckel Mass-O-Rack brand for two years and liked the results.

I would go with what this man says if you are going to use minerals -

How do you put it out?

Re: Double Down Minerals - 07/20/21 10:17 PM

It is in a loose mineral form. You can put it in some type of small wooden box or plastic tub, pour it directly onto the ground or dig a hole then mix it with the soil. I fed a mixture of soybean meal, L&E mineral and deer pellets out of my protein feeders.

We dig out a little hole and pour it in. Start in March.

Anybody ever use some sort of dewormer in their feeders?

Yes we did every year - put it out in all our protein feeders in the spring and it made a huge difference. Body weights improved and the deer were clean -

Feds have done alot of research in fever tick areas. Ivermectin and corn. Might try to google the papers on it.

I mix Cydectin with corn for the Ibex. Good for ticks, lice and as a wormer. The deer and sheep also eat it. Stinks bad but they eat it.
