New To Food Plots - 04/21/20 10:46 PM

Hello Y'all,

With all this free time I have because of being laid off from the oil field I am finally getting to redo the family food plot that I have not had a chance to get to in 2 years. I am documenting the process on YouTube (again I have a lot of free time), I am looking for suggestions on what to plant for this upcoming season, it has hand sown wheat on it currently, but everyone around us uses wheat food plot and I was hoping that if I did something different that I would attract more deer to our property. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.

Clay/iron cow peas and oats
Then in winter do Austrian winter peas and winter wheat

I just picked up seeds. Went with Guar beans, Sunn hemp, and Mung beans. Going to test the 3 and see what does best for next years. like to have them in ground by may 15th. These were some of the more drought tolerant legumes that I could find.

Mung beans are a good one also, especially in dry country.
