200 yard shot from porch about 11 tonight. Was at feeder under an elusive wildlife motion green light. Ran about 7 yards and dropped dead. 6.5cm 140gr soft point

Good shot. I have a similar set up.

I have various stand sites on the ranch but also a feeder about 200 yds out from the back of my house.

I shoot a number of hogs from the back porch each year. I prefer to shoot during the daytime at that distance but will pop them at night if the opportunity presents.

Mrs. Flintknapper and our two Dachshunds dislike me shooting from the porch (because of the noise) but you have to do what you have to do....right?

Good job. I too am set up to shoot 200 yards down to the feeder with a thermal scope from the back fence.
