The She-Wolf drops another one...

As we were cleaning up the kitchen after dinner late yesterday evening, I spotted a sounder of hogs at the feeder below the house. There was barely enough light remaining to shoot, but Jane made good use of what there was; she stepped out on our bedroom porch and dropped this sow at 167 yards.

We tend to swap back and forth...Jane happened to be at the sink this time. I fetched her rifle while she dried her hands and then spotted for her from the den windows.

She doesn't use much ammo; I can't remember the last time she missed!

When I was on disposal duty this afternoon, I noticed that the blood spoor from Jane's sow didn't make any sense. Turns out that was because she killed two with one shot!

Yeah, she doesn't use a lot of ammo, does she?
