There is an old Chinese saying that goes "May you live in interesting times." It can be considered either a blessing or a curse depending on context.

Pigs fall right in that category. They are a curse. But that doesn't mean I don't love to hammer down on them every chance I get. Take advantage of that opportunity and have some fun.

Something to do in the off-season on feeder filling trips.

'Got the same problem. It gives you an opportunity to perfect your pig (and coon) trapping skills, which is a life-long process. grin rifle

Target-rich environment. The only problem I see is for your wife/girlfriend due to year-round hunting. chicken

All that is needed is to switch to the night shift. It can be fun having a cold beer or two at 7 or 8 in the morning. Get er done.

I’ve been told that if you have this “problem”, you should let complete strangers come out with their friends & their AR rifles & let them shoot up your ranch for free whenever they want.

That’s not too bad. Start with the big sows kill them first preferably the ones with babies. Then shoot any of them that give you an opportunity

My cousin built a corral trap for me. Caught over a hundred hogs and don't need it anymore.
It's for sale on Craigslist. https://houston.craigslist.org/grd/d/willis-corral-style-hog-trap/7310131827.html
