Hide and seek is over

This old boar outwitted me time and again. I have 3 hog logs set out, with game cams on each log. I'd gather the pictures, figure out where he was going to appear and at about what time, drag my nasty azz out and wait for him to appear as he had the previous 2-3 nights. He would show up at one of the other logs, time and again! After about 4 attempts in the last month, he finally showed up as he was supposed to, and I introduced him to 123 grains of Hornady's best 7.62 X 39 bullets. Right in the old eye socket; DRT. He was another big-time stink pig and he had just come out of a wallow to get his corn fix and the old boy smelled to high heaven! I had to wash my rifle after using it as a prop for the picture! The pics are the "before" and "after." I've hunted hogs for 30 years. When do you think I might finally learn that YOU CAN NOT PATTERN THE DAMNED THINGS?

When I select a pipe to set up an ambush, I "sweeten" the corn load by pouring additional corn around the pipe. This pipe in the picture only has 2 rows of holes in it, so it tends to be a stingy releaser of the corn!
