End of the Yr. Head Count

Well it is end of the Yr. You have been hunting hogs all Yr. What was your Head Count?

There should be 2 ways to answer.

1) Individual Count

2) Group / Deer Lease Count

We should expect to see some pretty good numbers from the Thermal Guys.

1) 11 confirmed and 3 that were hit but ran away. Missed a few more for various reasons.

2) Group count is 16

All but 2 were with using thermals on 6.5 Grendels. I use Hornady Black. Not the best choice for hogs, but it shoots so accurate through my rifles that it makes shot placement a breeze.

It's been my most successful year hog hunting. Despite the success, I'm still seeing the same number of hogs on the game cams as when I started the season

My goal in 2020 is to spend more time staying up late and night hunting. Many trips out to my place where I'd go to bed around 11pm only to have the hogs show up 30 minutes later.

I am thinking we still have 27 days left to go, LOL.

23 so far, all by my lonesome, no thermal or night vision used, because I'm already in the Poor House from buying guns and optics for the guns! I'm thinking that I might collect a couple more before 2020 rings in. Luv it!!
