Be Careful - 03/28/19 07:16 PM

Took this photo off the SD card yesterday.
The squiggly line on the left side of the photo wasn’t on any photos before or after.

Probably caused by a moth or other insect caught flying through the infrared light. It's a pretty common occurrence. This one is much closer to the camera.

I killed a 62” rattler during bow season under my stand that overlooks that same feeder.
I’ve seen plenty of moths and other insects on my cameras, but none that looked like this

I agree that this a bug flying buy. I get pics like that quite often. Snakes move so slow there is no reason for it to be blurry. I don't doubt that the snakes are out though especially how warn it is getting lately.

That's a flying eel. We have them all over the place up here.

Shot this “moth” today while filling the feeder pictured in my first post. Dam! That looks a whole lot like a rattle snake.

If it is, then it non-poisonous and nothing to be concerned about.

I have encountered snakes at my place during every month of the year. There isn't a season for them. If it is above freezing, they may be out and about. Certainly any time that it gets up into the 50s and 60s, you may encounter them. If it gets into the 70s, you should be expecting to encounter them.

Actually Double Naught, on a bigger screen you can see the head and the diamond back markings on the snake in the first picture.
