I baited this boar for over 2 weeks. Put the trap up a little at a time. All the while getting him spoiled to eating corn closer and closer to the trap. After the trap was fully assembled, I tied the gate up so that he would let his guard down and come on in. The first night the trap was set, he would brush against the trip wire but never tripped the gate. The second night he got careless. It was all over but the bang.

I just put enough in there to keep him coming back. Maybe 10/12 pounds in 2 weeks. Hunting club across road has feeders. I think he got so big over there.
