128 lb Boar...132 lb Sow.. .223 Hog Headshots - 03/21/18 01:58 PM

Two Hog Hunts from last week with the Pulsar Trail XQ38 and the DiamondBack DB15/AR15 .223. Using Hornady Full Boar 50 grain ammo. 128 lb Boar and 132 lb Sow get served some Hog Revenge... #neverforgetthelawn

bang my 4G net is maxed out, so video veeeery slow playing.
cheers used the .223 AR-15 using cheap 55gr fmj & hps for my hog hunts down at WMA. Did lots of walking so lighter was better & my shots were close range. .223 is cheaper shooting, if ya on a budget & had great success. Don't expect good blood trails, my shots were heart lung, mostly, in thick areas, it happens fast. Only one, was not recovered. Most of blood stays in body cavity.

Man, it's alot cheaper than shooting my .308!! You're exactly right about blood trails...

You gotta reload 308 to keep costs down

You were shooting some pretty pricey factory ammo if I recall
