I went to TAM Dental college in Dallas, $42 per tooth pulled and $2500 for the dentures. If wanted snap in denture add another $1000.

I've got 2 implants. Worst experience of my life...but it was my own damn fault for letting it get so bad before I did anything about it. Once they're in, it's fantastic!

In the middle of my 4th right now. They're not cheap, even with insurance, but they work.

I had the final phase of an implant done a few weeks ago. It's not too bad. Gums were swollen a few days and now it feels normal. Glad the gap is gone where he pulled the tooth.

Yeah. I get some kind of flipper for looks but its gonna suck with that gap.

Re: Dental implants - 04/14/22 08:10 PM

You can get it done fast, or you can get it done right. But you can't get both. Do it right. The flapper/flipper whatever is the worst part of the whole thing. 6 months of that thing sucks.

I've had one (front tooth) for probably about 15 years now. I did chip the crown a few years ago but all the bolts have held tight the whole time. The guy who did mine promised me it would be the last tooth left in my head.

Well worth the expense and the wait in my mind.

Mine was a molar, so you couldn't see it - just felt weird. I'm glad it's done and glad I did it.

Re: Dental implants - 04/18/22 12:56 AM

My Mex dentist says you can stay at the three star hotel in Acuna and hire a young Whore to take care of you for a couple weeks much cheaper than US dentistry. There has to be all kinds of benefits to having a young whore feed and take care of you.
