Sota Weight Loss - 02/27/22 03:15 AM
I turned 50 last September so I told myself that after hunting season was going to get serious and lose 70 pounds. That would put me at the weight I was when I was 23-25 years old. At that time I was 5’9 and 160-170. In January I was 5’7 1/2” and 243 pounds.
After discussing Sota Weight Loss with my wife we decided I would sign up. This was a huge decision as it isn’t cheap. But I bit the bullet and since January 17th, I’ve gone from 243 to 216. I haven’t weight this much since 2011. I know I have a long way to go but I must say, this is the best decision I’ve ever made for myself.
Not only have I lost weight, but being a Type 2 diabetic, I have been off my diabetic meds for over a month. My previous A1c was 6.8. I had my physical this week and my A1c was down to 5.8. I honestly can’t wait to see my endocrinologist next month.
I saw a previous post from last year regarding Sota so I had to let everyone know about my experience. I highly encourage anyone that’s been on the fence about joining to take the leap and join.
