5-14 days in total darkness, isolation and silence. Sounds crazy, but interesting at the same time. Who's heard of it? Who's tried it? It has to be totally dark.

Apparently your natural melatonin builds up to the point that your Pineal gland (not that one, the one in your skull) starts converting it into DMT which produces some "therapeutic" effects.

I've been kept in the dark about a few things, but I'm pretty sure I'd lose my mind during this.

I couldn't stand to be with myself that long.

Maybe just me but this sounds like some hippie idea.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. grin

This. It is also a method used in brain washing/torture.

Yea, heard about it but who has that kind of time! Plus, I have claustrophobia and would be crying after 15 minutes!

I have heard of it but usually for just an hour. I would think you would go crazy longer than that. I was told that you will start halucinating and I would guess that’s the DMT being released in your brain.
