New knife, something a little different

New knife I got in today. It's a little different than what's usually posted on here.

Microtech Stitch Auto. I collect, and spend way to much on, folding knives but this is my first auto of any kind.

If it has a safety I'd use it. Several years ago one of my officers had a Benchmade unknowingly open in his back pocket, and when he shoved his hand in there, we ended the night at the ER.

I don't see how you could ever accidentally open this one. The button takes some pressure and faces inward. Plus you'd have to be dead to not know if it opened in your pocket as hard as it fires. I was messing with it at work and put a expo marker in front of the blade and opened it. It opened hard enough to knock the marker across the room

I own one knife with a safety and wish it wasn't there
