I worked for about ten years in/with commercial heat treating and metallurgical industries.

I think achieving desired physical and mechanical properties in any metal is beautiful in form and fashion!

He did, he doesn't need a GAS forge to make knives stock removal or to heat threat. Most of us use and electronically controlled heat treating oven.

I'm pretty sure Mike has an Even Heat Oven, they come in different depths, and voltage mine is a 24" deep oven 220v.
