replacement meat cleaver

had a customer wanting a meat cleaver, quickly,,, so i sold them my wife's LOL
i just finished up with her replacement cleaver

blue black g10
course gator texturing to the handle scales
acid wash, forced patina
o1 tool steel 1/4 inch thick
copper pins

maybe now i am out of the dog house,, oh crap, not yet, still have to make
her replacement chef's knife,,,LOL

Good job bro. I had a customer bring me two cleavers and four butcher knives all from the mid 1940's. Three of the butcher knives are 3/4 tangs, a booger to mortise out the handles. They were his wife's grandmothers knives, she was a butcher. I'm using rosewood for the handles. They are going to build a shadow box for them and display them in his kitchen wall.
