Made a chopper

Noramlly I make hunting knives, that's what pays the biill, I decided to go large this time. It's 1095 High Carbon Steel 3/16 thick OAL 11" tip to scales is 6". Blued and tempered to 60 HRC, blued 5 times. Tiger Maple with black liners. It's a work horse. Thick leather sheath double stitched.

I think so too, I keep one in my back pack for hunting. I've used it to chop limbs to make a quick ground blind and then used it to on a buck to take out the hams, shoulders and backstrap. I don't skin deer or pigs, I just take the goodies, of course the head for the tag.
