Spalted Pecan - 01/23/19 02:20 PM

This post is about the WOOD, not the pins or functionality of the blades. roflmao
I recently ran across a man Troy Texas that had a large amount of spalted pecan. I scored enough of it to make 100 knives or more from it, with the option of driving the 100 miles south and buying more from him at any given time. The thing I'm excited about is what I paid for it, I did have to process it and stabilized it but I do that anyway to save money. These are for groomsmen gifts and have an orders for a lot more. Handles sell knives, and a large part of my business are custom orders I aim to please my buyers with what they want. The only thing I will refuse to do is not to put my cross on my makers mark.. I've turned down work for that reason. Just my thing...
