Something to be proud of! - 01/23/19 12:53 AM
Over the last year and a half, my 17 year old has taken over my garage. I have tried to stay back and just facilitate. He has done a lot of studying about metals and heat treat. He is developing his own style. I just need to get him to sell a few, so it's not just me funding his past time.

That's good that he's interested in something positive. I tried to get my grandson interested, even paid him to work in my shop.. But he's too interested I Bass Fishing. He fishes two tournaments a month and practices every other week end.
Nothing better than earning a living doing what you love. Good for him!

Yup he's def caught the bug!! A really good way to get started selling is to do gun shows and the bigger the better! My wife and I have done over 200 shows!!!!! A lot of fun, lot of work and a lot of knowledge too. He needs to get out to shows and put a sign on his table - handmade by my hands! So many at the shows now sell Paki Damascus some even claim they make it but we always called em out on it!! Stay Sharp!! and Good Luck cause it's a bug not easily shaken!!!

Doing what he likes and he likes what he does. Good combination I think.
