Damasteel and giraffe bone Barlow

Damasteel and giraffe bone Barlow - 03/06/18 10:36 PM

this one didn't come out 100% to my satisfaction, but as far as folders go its getting better.

Damasteel blade, 440c spring, stainless bolster, pins and liners, giraffe bone scales.

I need a good way to make the nail flick, as obviously a Dremel and cutting wheel in not ideal.

Use a dremel cutoff disk in your drill press, then use the table to keep your blade steady. I usually clamp the blade to a block, then adjust the table to the right height. This is a guard, but you get the idea.

I agree with Jason; except I use my mill and one of my 1-2-3 blocks for the base. Works like a champ.

I used my mill and cutoff wheel on the next one, the cut is a lot cleaner and is satisfactory for now
