Fade To Black CPM 154 Skinner

Fade To Black CPM 154 Skinner - 04/13/15 12:56 AM

This one is almost done. Need to mark it and add the final edge and the lanyard. 7 3/4" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. Satin finished CPM 154 blade with resin cast pine cone scales. A little file work and jimping on the spine for good measure.

Scales and sheath really set that knife apart.

Turned out really nice. I've always liked pine cone. That resin color combo looks great.

The sheath really ties it all together. cheers

Dink gets credit for the sheath!

That is simply beautiful. This section is going to force me to buy a fixed blade knife, I've been resisting but it is hard.

Good grab Stick1. Mike's knives also have a great feel that a pic can't capture.

Yes they do. He knows exactly what I like in a knife, and I guarantee he KNEW I'd be hooked before he even posted the pic. Lol. I also have it's twin that he made awhile back in damascus with palmwood scales that looks every bit as good. I already wore the new off of it, but wish I would have taken a pic when it was fresh out of his shop. Hopefully he still has a pic somewhere. Great work on the sheath Dink. Look forward to seeing more of them!

Thanks brother, hope you enjoy it and get years of use from it.
Hopefully Mike can post a pic of the other one. I don't remember seeing one with Palm.
