Before riding an ATV on public property you are required to: * Obtain an OHV Decal from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (512-389-8917) and place it on your ATV; and * Complete the fun and informative ATV safety course (Contact the All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute at 1-800-887-2887).May 16, 2011

Pretty sure you can do the Oregon atv course online and be legal in Texas. Or that’s what the GW told me while giving me a $300 ticket. Don’t forget your PPE. that was another $300 ticket. You can get your OHV form most atv stores. Or thats where I get mine from. Need to get mine done before duck season starts up.
