My daughter with a nilgai bull killed at the LRGVNWR-East Lake the weekend before Christmas.

I started hunting SAM Houston a about a month prior to the end of the season and got a nice buck, 4 pigs in one day, 8 pigs in all and seen a lot of doe. I did not have a tag so I couldn't shoot anything antlerless. I had a second Buck in my cross hair before another hunter scared him off. I was happy with my time on public land.,
