Lake Fork Public Land - 11/06/17 05:32 PM

Looking at getting into some ducks opening weekend at Lake Fork. Seeing that the lake is public land, are there any boundaries to where you can and cannot hunt? Also, is the public land permit required? I have been looking all over the place for information, but cannot seem to find any.

As far as I know TPWD doesn't manage any land at Lake Fork,so no you wont need the APH permit. I dont know a lot about Fork but I thought all the shoreline was private land?

Call the SRA Lake Fork office.

Land bordering Lake Fork is leaseback... leased by the SRA to adjoining property owners. Land that is not leased and owned by SRA is not open to public hunting.
