Choke Canyon SP - North Shore Unit- Youth

My Son has been drawn for the Youth Only Gun Either Sex at Choke Canyon SP - North Shore Unit Dec 19th to 22nd. I could sure use some help on what to look for on this hunt. Has anyone had the opportunity to hunt the Choke Canyon SP - North Shore Unit for Deer. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

I will be hunting at the North Shore Unit on December 8-10th for a management deer hunt. I have not hunted this area before but I will email you when I get back on what I encountered and what to expect. I did speak with one of the personel today who runs the hunts. He said that there are no blinds in the North Shore Area so take pop-ups or tripods. There are 4 compartments in this hunt area and the main road to access all 4 compartments is a very nice road. When you go into your compartment,then the side roads can be rough. He said that there would be lots of deer this year.
