My boys Chaparral WMA youth hunt antlerless/spike - 12/30/14 05:30 PM
My oldest was drawn for this hunt and his younger brother (who was drawn last year for the either sex hunt and got a good 9 point) got a standby position. They both got their doe and we all had a great time. My dad was able to come with us and it was the first time he has hunted with his grandsons. Great memories and I was glad that my boys were able to hunt with their Papa which was something that I never could experience as both of my grandpa's left this world too early. Thanks to the staff at the Chap for another great experience!

Congrats to the boys. Looks like the weather was nice, and glad they had a good hunt. While not as exciting as those hogs or that nice buck last year, it sure is a fun place to hunt. My grandkids are hoping to draw once more before they get too old.

Yes Coolie we did see some quail. We corned the roads leading up to the blinds and they were eating along with the deer.

Good deal. I love that place. They have the best roads. I think I could hunt out of a Civic.
