Infiray T2 Pro Thermal Camera

Infiray T2 Pro Thermal Camera - 05/04/23 04:53 PM

I've been using my Bering Optics as as Thermal Scanner, but would much rather have it on a rifle. I've been considering what hand held thermal scanner to buy. At $399 plus tax and shipping I thought I would give it a try.

I am deep in the IOS system so I got the IOS version. However the Android versions have a couple more options. The vids' show the optic with a laser locater, but mine package did not come so equipped.

Tried it out last night. I am impressed.

I've not yet taken the time to use the video function, but a screenshot. Distance to the house in the foreground I ranged with my Leica LRF 1200 Scan is 130 yds.

That could be pretty useful. Next time you're out where you hunt, how about some images of whatever happens to be handy at hunting distance? I'm sure lots of folks other than myself would like to see that.

I have not yet had the opportunity to use the T2Pro in a hunting application, but did come across this video, which IMHO gives a good illustration of the capabilities of this unit

My son bought one of these and I posted a review of it a while back.

Check out this video I took with it of a first time hunter shooting some pigs at my place in ET.

Thanks Geedub.

That $6000 unit is quite something, but the low dollar unit will definitely detect and reveal!
