Anything less than a pst all though the older viper 30 mm tube 6.5-20 was a decent scope and was reasonably tough.. but they changed it and not the same..
Them diamond back scopes make for a good 22 scope but don’t expect to dial 200 yards with one unless you got a 20+ moa rail

If I was looking for a scope on a tight budget I'd buy it. I have the 2-7 Diamondback HP on a a rimfire, and a straight Diamondback on an old .243 loaner rifle. The HP has noticeably better clarity, side focus and all. That's a great price.

I just got one of these. Got it mounted last night, will shoot the gun some this weekend. I put it on a cheapo Savage Axis. One thing worth noting, at least with the Talley ring/base combo I used, this scope didn't fit on the Medium rings. I wouldn't have thought you'd need the high, but for this particular rifle I did. I have a milling machine, so I modified the rear base to make it work.
