I looked at the Trijicon a looong time at the safari club. I would love to see them head to head

The vortex is 6 oz lighter

Trijicon is headed my way. Plan to hunt with it this weekend.

Nice. Post a review for us. Especially if you get to test it in low light.

Are you referring to Vortex or Trijicon?
Between me and my hunting partners we have used at least 8 Trijicon and so far no failures. I did sell my first 4 but only because I wanted something different or upgrading to newer or changes to Mil from MOA.

Most likely about the vortex as Jason's track record with vortex is sketchy. That being said the razor line is typically rock solid with only a handful of defective units just like all the other top tier glass guys.

What I read was “Vortex is sketchy.”

Trijicon looks great but SFP, and it's 1-1 at 9x. I don't want to have to do the math twice.

On model lines other than the razor I'll agree to that assessment.

Not necessarily a bad thing on a hunting scope...and you could get the same in FFP...... and do no math

I hesitate on having to be on 18x for accurate wind holds at those medium distances in a hunting situation.

I looked but did not find one with that reticle in FFP.

Didn't notice but you are correct different reticle

I love Trijicon. I have 3 of Accupower 3-9x40. Great hunting scope.

How bout a Razor spotting scope?

The Heatstroke Open drove dust inside it. I sent it in.

The Hunters Rifle Challenge drove water inside it. I still need to send it in.

Don't get me started on their Gen I Viper. That scope gave me trouble, as well as two other people.

Gave them three chances. I'm done with them. There are plenty of other good options.

I will have both in my hands hopefully soon. Shipping seems to be an issue these days.

That’s not a condom, that’s a gay indicator that Nightforce started putting in their scopes.
